My professional education at Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education involved a five-year training course to attain my Diploma in Psychotherapy which I received in 1997. In 2012, I completed a two year Masters degree in Transpersonal Counselling & Psychotherapy from Northampton University, graduating with distinction.

Before psychotherapy, I was trained in body-related therapy, receiving a diploma from European School of Shiatsu in 1987 and Rex Lassalle's Hara School of Shiatsu in 1988.

In 2009 I qualified as a Voice Bio Sound Therapist and had conducted studies in the use of sound and voice in psychotherapy, the healing power of singing and its effect on consciousness.

I am fascinated by the alchemical retreat process as a means of inner transformation and have studied with Inayati Order for 20 years, where I serve as a retreat guide and leader, running meditation groups at their London Centre.

Since 2014, I have been a teaching member of staff at CCPE.

I've also had a career in the financial sector, working for a major global organisation. My experiecne in the corporate world has given me valuable insights into work-related problems such as anxiety, stress and work-life balance, which I'm able to bring to my work with corporate clients.
